Lavender Essential Oil Could Help Deal With Insomnia.

Insomnia may be caused by bowel or liver toxicity, poor heart function, negative memories and trauma, depression, mineral deficiencies, hormone imbalance or an under active thyroid. Deep restorative sleep is necessary to maintain a vibrant immune system and prevent illness.

The fragrance of the Lavender essential oil can exert a powerful calming effect on the mind through its influence on the limbic system of the brain.

Here is a great way to utilize yesterday's wisdom for today's much needed sleep. Making an evening bath as your daily routine and incorporating this method with the Lavender oil will help you “float” off to sleep in no time.

Combine 10 drops of lavender essential oil to ½ cup of Epsom salt. It is required to rub the oil and salt together before you release it under the hot running water so that molecules of the oil attach to the molecules of the salt. This is needed so that the oil does not float on top of the water, but instead dissolves into the hot water for maximum effect.

The Epson salt is an added bonus to help the body detox through our skin. Be sure to get your chest and heart UNDER the water and allow yourself the pleasure of complete release. 20-30 minutes is desirable. You can light a candle, play your favorite music, and just imagine how you want your life to be.... and then consider it done! Allow it to manifest..

After your bath, rub the Lavender oil on the bottom of your feet as essential oils have the smallest of molecules which allows it to easily penetrate our cells and travel throughout our body in a matter of minutes. Add more drops of oil to the palms of your hand, cup your face, and breathe in deeply three times. This will help the oil to reach your olfactory, which is above your nose, to stimulate the relaxation process your body needs to begin the process of deep sleep.

Make this part of your daily routine and enjoy excellent health!
